i did an engine swap into my 96 dx automatic hatchback...i dropped a 98 ex manual in...now everytime i drive my car i cant go passed 5800 rpm because it starts jumping, so i have to shift to the next gear...can someone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it?...all comments are appreciated.

did you change ecus?

 

It is a rev limiter that is lowered from your vtec not being hooked up properly. You need your vtec hooked up- just like I said the last time I talked with you. Have you done that yet??
