i just finished a gsr swap into my 97 ex coupe.,.first i didnt have a jumper harness and i cut the wires for vtec accidentally..fast forward to today..wired up the vtec and put on my jumper harness now im running my chipped p72..the car now pops vtec no problems runs good..except the rpms on my tach start acting up..when i take the rpms past vtec the needle on the rpm starts jumping around..i have all grounds connected..run out of ideas..any one know what it could be?

-once you pass 4k rpms the needle on the rpm cluster starts jumping around

I don't know what's wrong, but try letting your car warm up for like 5 minutes before hand and see if it does it.

so all your grounds are good and tight, and have good contact right, and when vtec pops does it pop in and out on high rpm???
