Car bogs at random times!!!!
Ok.... this is gonna sound very odd but when the car is fully warmed up and I am just driving normal the rpm needle is jump down when i hit around 1.5k-3.5k... not sure why.. the needle jumps up and down and the car just bogs.. it even does it past the 4k mark sometimes butits not as drastic but you can definitely see the needle jumping up and down very very slightly... i notice this happens a lot more when i'm hitting the throttle when I make some hard turns... I thought it might be the ecu so I unplugged it and plugged it back in.. it isn't doing it anymore but this has happend in the past but stopped in the past as well.... but before it wasn't this bad... i think its getting worse or something
any help?
any help?
As far as I know the fuel filter has never been replaced... you think thats it? if so why only at random times? I have checked all vacum lines.. any ones in particular to look at?
the ignitor? my ignition fuse blew out a couple months ago.. but I replaced that and it hasn't blown since... I'm going to replace fuel filter and plugs right now.. update later

The igniter is different from the ignition, it's in the distributor housing. The bouncing tach and bogging problems are reminiscent of a loose connection to it or a faulty one. Do the Fuel filter and plug thing first, though...
Did the plugs and filter.. no more bouncing tach although it wasn't doing it all day today before i put in the new fuel filter and plugs.. faulty ignitor... why would it only be doing it at certain times if the ignitor is faulty? wouldnt it bounce all the time? and why only on hard turns sometimes?
This is a common problem on DA's. The ignitor connection gets corrupted by grime and causes a bouncing tach, occasionally. I'm not saying that's your problem, just giving you things to check.
cap/rotor/plugs/wires/fuel filter.. still bogs at random times
I am trying to figure out WHY it only does it sometimes and it wont do it other times.. I remember this happend ONCE about three months ago but since then it hasn't happend again till now.. someone said it might be a loose connection with o2 sensor??? I guess I can check that..but I've driven without the secondary o2 sensor before and it never bogged out.. so would it be the primary o2 that goes into the header that needs checking?

I think I figured it out.. i checked the ecu ground wire that is bolted right on top of the thermostat housing....it was loose as ****.. so I tightened it and it hasn't happend but i wontknow for sure until it happens or if it happens. Thanks for your help guys.. If this was all it was then
