Well that was just weird.
The other night, I was driving home, when suddenly my car started "sputtering", that is to say, it lost all power. The more I pushed the gas pedal down , the more the engine bogged. I pulled over and tryed to rev it. It wouldnt rev past 3000 RPM without trying to die. After turning it off for a minute, I started it back up and it drove just fine. No problems whatsoever. My dad, who used to be a mechanic, told me to replace the fuel filter. Which I just did. The old one was full of rust and lots of other nice junk. Could a clogged filter cause my car to behave this way? I'm very mechanicly inlined, so I'm not a total noob, I just need a second opinion.
thanks HT!

Well after changing the fuel filter, the car runs sooooo much better. Pulls harder too. I've yet to have any problems, so I'm gonna assume that this fixed the problem. *knock on wood* Thanks for the responses.
