I look under my hood at my b18c /w a dragIII kit, and one of the bolts that holds the wastegate to the exhaust manifold has busted! There is still the bottom part of the bolt stuck in the manifold, and I don't know how to get it out. One of my buddies suggested getting a reverse-threaded drill bit and try to use that to drill it out of the hole, but I'm afraid that the bit will just drill a hole in the bottom of the bolt and it will still not budge. Any thoughts?
You can try something like this:

...and if you have my usual luck, then you can take the manifold off and tote it to a machine shop, where they can drill out the remains of the bolt and put a helicoil in.

Get an easy-out. You can go to a local hardware store or Home Depot, tell the guy in the hardware section that you're trying to get a screw out whose head cracked off.
You'll need a drill, and a small drill bit to drill a small pilot hole in the middle of that broken bolt. Once that hole is in place, the Easy-Out goes in, put your drill on reverse, press down hard on the drill, and slowly "drill" out. The Easy-Out is reverse threaded, so when you're twisting it in a counterclockwise direction, the bit goes down into the bolt (which is why ya drilled that pilot hole in the first step), grabs a hold of it, and easy it comes out!

If there is some bolt exposed-I would soak some penetrating oil in it and try some parrot jaw pliers or a stud extractor- don't drill it until all other options are "exhausted". A cobalt drill bit will withstand the heat if it is a hardened bolt if you prefer drilling. How did it break? If it broke going in- an esay out might work- if it broke coming out- easy outs and reverse thread bits will get you nowhere.
