Ok ive got a B16 and it started burning a bit of oil. it was mainly when you let off the throttle so that point to valve seals. I replaced the valve seals and whilst i had the head off i replaced the rings with gas nitride coated ones. it has been back on the road for a couple of months but still smokes a little when at high revs. it was run in after the new rings and i have since done a compression check and all is well. i checked the pcv and it seems free flowing enough. Any ideas?
