Built LS block leaking?
I know this sounds crazy, I just recently blew a headgasket. I just got home from work and I saw under my car water leaking everywhere, and I just filled up the radiator with water and haven't drove the car, And filled it back up again with water and it took alot of it and suddendly I saw water streaming out of the block around the oil dipstick area but not the dipstick itself but around the cavity part of the block where the outside part of the coolant passage, maybe a hairline crack at least 4 of them, How's this possible what cause it?? Do you guys think that the block is repairable for instnce like aluminum tig weld? Because I don't want to buy another freakin sleeve block just for this stupid *** leak the block is sleeve and theres nothing wrong with the sleeves just the outside part of coolant passage of the block. Please help if anyone have this weird *** leak on a built block and what solution to fix it, damn this hobby is freakin expensive!!!
I have heard of blocks cranking outside from sleeving. There are some very effective block sealant additives on the market.I would give one a try.
try liquid glass you can order it from rite aid you will turn on your car let the engine warm up(while the engine is warming up continue to fill up the radiator) poor the liquid glass though the radiator then use the hose again continuing to fill the radiator till the leaks stop
