Default block still safe without sleeving?

I guess this block has been running water with no coolant and has corroded the outside rim of the sleeve. Anybody know if this block needs to be resleeved?

oh damn, at first i looked and said a machine shop can clean it up but then looked again and is it me or are chunks of the sleeves missing? if so, you can opt to resleeve but if you're not planning on doing anything with it, ie high comp or forced ind, then just invest in a bare block.

Find a new block and use this one as an example of what not to do.

Yes it was water, and you will need to have the block sleeved if you ever want to safely run it again.

just find a bare block usually 150 or less and switch over everything from your old block to the bare one. or you can sleeve it which will be best but also $$$

Or better yet, get an RS machine block and when it gets to you, send the messed up one back for the core.
