block still safe without sleeving?
I guess this block has been running water with no coolant and has corroded the outside rim of the sleeve. Anybody know if this block needs to be resleeved?

oh damn, at first i looked and said a machine shop can clean it up but then looked again and is it me or are chunks of the sleeves missing? if so, you can opt to resleeve but if you're not planning on doing anything with it, ie high comp or forced ind, then just invest in a bare block.
OMFG HOUSTON, throw it in the ohio river and find a diff block, right now, the sleeves are fucked even where they mate at between cylinders
Thats what happens when you run just water??!??!!? You sure thats the only reason why is looks like that.....All summer I ran just water...You got me scared....
