Default Building an LS.VTEC.... Problems

I am in the process of building an LS.VTEC motor and im running into a major problem.....

on 96+ integra LS blocks the crank case is vented threw the head with the PCV valve in the valve cover.

I need to know how i can vent my crank case cause i had the motor all together and it wasen't venting and it built up pressure and blew oil past my rings into the cylinders and cause my motor to quit running.... anyone else had this problem or know how to deal with it?

Run a catch can to vent the crank case. You can get an Endyn or assemble one yourself (much cheaper and same basic thing) that replaces plugs on the block and vents through a PCV off the catch can. Something like that Use the search and look for PCV or catch can and it will give you some options for ls/b20 vtec.

yes, this is one of the things you needed to account for with a frank motor. people do it different ways but this is probably the simplest way...

I drilled a hole in my valve cover and used the LS PCV grommet to mount the PCV valve in the valve cover. I also welded a baffle into the valve cover so that the PCV valve did not suck up any raw engine oil from the valve train. There is more than one way to skin a cat.

b19coupe: got any pics; sounds interesting and saves a hell amount of money. Also what does the baffle (or what is it) look like and where does ur hose from the valve cover go to (still the intake pipe)?

My setup is pretty close to yours. So I guess that method is not going to work on mine then. Right now I just have my pcv from the int manifold taped up and hanging while my hose from the valve cover transmitting oil from all the blowby's into my intake pipe(which drips out of my dang intake filter ).

Why not just get a stock one and a hole saw. The holes for mounting it are still there and there's a nice place where one obviously used to go.

What do you mean kinesistech? Can you explain it to me more in detail? My ls block have no pcv box on the back of it & my b16 head have no place for the pcv off of the Intake manifold. What mounting holes are still there?
