Default building a b18....

building a sleeper lookin for 400whp. i know alot of this is overdone, but i need some experts to shorten this list down and show me out of all of this what i need to make a solid 400whp motor out of my b18c1. the more that can be cut out will help me money wise, but i dont wanna cut out the overall strength and life length of this motor...cause i know i will have to rebuild it more than once to keep it a while. but again if something can help to make it more relible then i am up for that but i know some stuff on this list is not needed at all for a 400whp motor. thanks

people have made that power with stock motors. I dont know how long they lasted but you can do it with just some pistons and rods and maybe a type r came.I just reread ur post is it gonna be a track car or dd. if its a dd and ur really concerned with money keep it stock or add just pistons and rods for safety and only high boost it when u have to whip some ***.If its track than ur listed set up would be good maybe some 3" piping. It can be done on 1.8 if you dont want to waste money on sleeving it but the 2.0 would make it easier to get the number. Im sure if you search youll find some good setups.good luck

saw no turbo? then what is all this?

Turbo
Garrett GT35R Turbo
Precision AS1025 Intercooler
Tial 38mm Wastegate
Tial 50mm BOV
SS Turbo AC Manifold
Custom Downpipe/Dumptube
Custom 2.5” Turbo Piping
Oil Supply/Return Lines
Adapter Fittings

I broke everything up into Motor Transmission Turbo and Gauges its all there if you just looked before posting. And my goal for this car is not a dd but mostly track car, but i would take it out for a spin on the town a couple times a month maybe....cause the b18c i am building i am gonna buy a civic shell to put it in. so it will be parked until i take it out for a short spin or to the track. and I dont wanna push my stock motor hard and dont have any idea when its gonna go down, so do I really need all that i have listed in the turbo, motor, tranny, etc. thanks alot

naw i think it would be hard to guess all this...i have been reading and stuff for a while. but i still wanted to get some of H-T members opinions, thanks i guess i will just run with what i have listed and start my project soon. but do you think this setup would be good to drive on the road say 1 or 2 times a month? just times when i cant get it to the track? thanks again
