I agree....with that setup you'll seriously be selling yourself short at only 400. From the looks of the list, money is too much of an object so I would definitely consider swapping out the turbo. Get something more like a GT35R or even a GT40. With that setup I'd be shooting for a minimum of 550.
Also if you are deciding to go with Hondata, definitely get the S300 unit as this is the "latest and greatest" version. Everything looks great though

Re: (Dunc)
thanks the thing about the s300 setup is that its the newest and they will have bugs abou the system and i wanna wait until they get it all lined out before i would invest into it, if that makes sense. and the turbo what is wrong with the sc61? it is rated for 680hp. but thanks for the support, i cant wait to start.

Yea that's basically what I was getting at. Like which the money that is in the motor, another couple hundred for a nice turbo that will support larger power is definitely in order. I think the GT35R spools up at like 5000-5500 (correct me if I'm wrong). But it will just let you fully utilize your setup which should be done.

Re: (B18Sleeper)
you should definately do the 84mm bore, with the kind of money invested you will be selling yourself short if you do the 81.5mm, plus with the 84mm if you only want 400hp just turn the boost down, but if you want to do more later, you'll be able to do it easily without major mods.

Re: (areyouasian)
Yea that is what I thought too, but I have had many people tell me about how I need to think it over cause it would be a bad decision and ****. But personally I think it would be a really smart one. But where is a good place to get GT35r's for cheaper than most? thanks

i don't see why you shouldn't go with it! u might wanna go with some colder plugs than 7's if you're gonna be in the big hp range. but you'll be sittin pretty with all that.
gt35r will be very nice over the sc61. i remember someone did a dyno comparison and the gt35r made 50hp over the sc61.

check out ricky at afperformance, boostfed (thats his name on H-T), ummmm I think Full-Race.com sells them too. Or if you want it from a shop locally try http://www.racelinetuning.com (they are in cincinnati) I don't work there, but they are great honest guys to deal with.

Re: (B18Sleeper)
if you never want more than 400 whp, a gt35r is over kill.
gt30r is pretty sweet, will spool a bit quicker.
all depends on what you want.
personally, i like less lag. id rather push a couple more psi in a stout block and have better midrange, then suffer more lag and make more power with less boost pressure.
PS the hondata s300 is sweet, id upgrade from the s200 to s300.

Re: (Dunc)
i think that someone that has never had a big hp FWD car, shouldn't go off and build a 550whp car, as that compared to the current 130whp b16 in the car would be a very very very huge difference. the reason for the 81.5mm bore versus 84 would only be if he didn't sleeve. AKA, he first taked of only wanting 400whp. for that you can keep stock sleeves, go 81.5mm bore and boom, save yourself some money and have a fun car. if you want more, sleeve, go 84mm. But end result is, once you get past 400whp for a daily driven street car, its not that much fun to drive on teh street. Sure its fast, but if you have to sit on Man O'War street in lexington, KY with redlights every 500ft, its not the greatest thing to be doing.
either way, its his money and if he wants to drop 20k with buying a b18c, all the engine work, all the suspension work and everything else, he can. But sometimes you need to define, exactly what do you want.
FYI, my gt35e made 480whp @ 19psi and got full spool by 4800rpms. boost started at 4k rpm. So i had close to 5k powerband, with reving to 9600. while ball bearing turbos are nice, they aren't the requirement.
