Weird Brake Problem
Has anyone ever encountered brakes that SLOWLY, AUTOMATICALLY, lock up? The other day, I tried to pull my 88 CRX out of my driveway and the car wouldn't move. The brake pedal would not push down. I opened a bleeder valve and tried to push it down and it worked. I closed it back up, refilled the master cylinder to the appropriate level, and I was able to drive the car for a while. Then it did it again while I was driving. I repeated my quick-fix and now it's doing it again. I can't find anything on Google that touches on it other than maybe the faulty brake-booster theory but that's supposed to happen suddenly, right? And the car has to be cranked as well, doesn't it? I need an expert.
I forgot to mention that all four corners have been converted to 94 GSR brakes/suspension, and the calipers are still governed by the stock CRX HF master cylinder and booster (obviously). I don't know if that makes a difference, but It may be significant. Thanks in advance.
