Default brake ???'s

What would be better for stoping a 96 hatchback? Integra brakes in the front and drums in the rear or integra brakes in the rear and civic in the front? I know that integra brakes all the way around would be the best choice but I'm on a budget and I need to know what would be the best bang for the buck.

integra in the front and drums in the rear. most of your braking is done in the front. go with the bigger front brakes.

if you jus upgrade the front brakes you will have better braking on the street
but will actully have poorer braking on the track where you're on the brakes
HARD. this is because when you upgrade front brakes there is more "bite"
with same line pressure which the rears will have less bite than stock with
same line pressure. i dont think you understood what i said, not really sure
myself. read this:
