Brake Rotor Poll!!!
Im about to buy some new rotors cause Im tired of my rusty *** stock ones. I searched and didn't find one brake rotor poll, just a brake pad poll, and since theres a lot of them out there now I thought it couldnt hurt to do a poll. Now I know drilled/slotted suck from what Ive read-- but Im gonna put them on there anyway. Please vote if you have some of the rotors on here and like them, and feel free to post what pads/other crap you have too.
EDIT: sorry I forgot to put the cheap lifetime warranty NAPA, Autozone.... ones on here. Just vote for OEM with them I guess, since thats really what they're supposed to be.

Since every vote counts I voted for Powerslot, cause thats what I'm leanin towards buying. What pads do you guys like, I have the ceramic ones from AutoZone or something, and they work alright but dump a shitload of brake dust on my wheels

1. I'm not going to spend a lot of money on a clearly expendable item like brake rotors. I go through a few sets of front rotors per year, so there isn't a lot of point in spending a lot of money on them.
2.I want the maximum braking surface possible, so there is no way I'm going to buy slotted or drilled rotors. Modern brake compounds do not gas up, so you don't need that unless you're driving something like a Carrera GT4 in the pouring rain.

alright keep em comin...
I heard that Brembo blanks cracked cause they were made to be drilled and slotted, but they never were so they are weaker. I know it doesnt make sense but thats what I read somewhere on here???

I wouldnt believe everything I read online. Rotos can be warped and even cracked if they are overheated and then rapidly cooled, so having a solid rotor crack isnt so very strange.
Have you given a thought on ATE Powerdisk? They're supposedly quite good.

I have EBC'S rotors and green stuff pads. I love this combo, but it is kind of noisy. Sounds like a rattle snake when driving. Me and my friends agree that the sound is due to the fact that the rotors are not drilled but dimpled. I think i will step up to red stuff compound next time.
Oh, I didnt even know EBC made the rotors too, just pads I thought. It looks like Brembo blanks are in the lead, but nobody has posted thier experiences with them-- who has them and with what pads??? Thanks for all the replies everybody
