need brake suggestions
well its time to do my brakes since i have that annoying squeakin indicator squeaking now...right now im using brembo blanks with ebc greens on my eh3 but rotors are warped like crazy and i hate the stupid ebcs. ebcs say less brake fade...yeah right rims get all dirty from brake dust the same night i wash my car. ive been lookin into maybe slotted rotors possible powerslot ones but thats depending on how much rotor life is left...any suggestions with rotors? and also brake pads are a must since they're gone...ive been thinkin either oem honda or some aftermarket ones like hawk or axxis also ive been lookin a lot into the hawk and axxis pads....i kno theres diff kinds that everyone uses on here so if anyone can help me out or let me kno about your experiences i would appreciate it..oh and the car sees some track time also

Second the Brembo blanks. And if you want something a little better than stock pads, AEM's pads are made by Nissin; same co. that does brakes for Honda.

Yes. Stick with Brembo blank rotors. For your car, this is optimal. Now the pad, go with high performance. AEM's high performance ceramics are great. I got em. Low dust , great stopping, heat doesnt affect em that much either, and they make no noise and last a while. They are made in conjunction with Nissin, who makes your calipers. This is what I have, and for a stock cheap setup, you cant do any better. Don't get cross drilled, they wont really help ya any, just look bad (most do).

i like axxis ultimates over hawk hps, but the hawk hp plus pads are fantastic. their downside is that they dust a lot, make noises, and are harsh on rotors, from my experience at least. but if you want a pad that dusts less, maybe stick with oem. I've never tried the aem/nissan pads so i can't compare those.

Axxis Ultimates are one of the aftermarket pads that dusts the least, at least in my experience (That's comparing them to Cobalt GT-Sports though, so I might be a little biased... )

Stay away from crossdrilled/slotted rotors. They have less heat capacity meaning more fade, and the drilled ones tend to crack. You will probably have to make the call on what pad, but I think you will be happy w/ either one. You may want some better brake fluid too.
Good luck...

Re: need brake suggestions (Ricey McRicerton)
if you hate dust just get oem honda pads. pretty much any aftermarket pad will dust more than they will.
when you figure out how to use your garden hose, look into a set of cobalt gt sports or hawk hp+ pads.

Re: need brake suggestions (alotawatts)
Honestly, I would go w/ a better performance pad than the OEM ones. Yes any Ceramic pads will dust more, but they wont warp your rotors as easy. The term "warped" isn't exactly correct. What's really happening is your pads become overheated and they deposite pad material unevenly across the rotors surface (it's not the rotors fault). This is what causes the shaking feeling in your steering. You can machine it off again, but if you don't use good pads (like the ones suggested befor), agressive driving will just cause this to happen again, and again. I would just go w/ some Axxis Ultimates, or Hawk HP or HP+'s (stoptech recomends Ultimates). I would rather wash my rims over and over, than change my brakes over and over...
Just trying to help.
