Default Bought a new PCV valve and....... look!!!!!

ok went to acura today bought a new pcv valve for my GSR and if u blow through it or suck air from it you can push air throught it either way....... my old one u can only get air to come out 1 way WTH i tried it on 5 of them at the dealership... they all it

i work at a chrysler dealer and all the pcv valves for the cars you can blow both ways!!
thought u can only do it 1 way!!!

yeeeaahhhh, now you have me confused. I'm pretty sure air is only supposed to travel one way through a PCV valve

The pressure created by your lungs is not sufficient to close the valve.

yea it is enough to close the valve

i checked the brand new one on my friends prelude and u can make it close

It certainly is enough. If you think the crankcase venting pressure from your engine is blowing harder than you can by your lungs, then your engine is in serious trouble.

Your old one is probably gummed up. Suck real hard on the hose barb, it will close.
