Bought ARP Studs for B18A1 Have a question
with my experience you want to first make sure that all the threads in the block are clean. I would suggest that you measure the depth of the threads in the block so you can make a mark on the arp's to make sure that you get them threaded all the way down and even. Use the moly lube that is supplied with the studs, I believe that is says you can use oil but use one or the other becuase it effects what specs you torque them down to. You can use the an alan on the studs but do not torque them, they should be hand tight only. anyone else have any more input???

double nut
use a wrench
I torque ARP's down to about 10-15 ft/lbs or they start to slide into the block while torquing the nuts on

I would use a tap to clean the threads first. See this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=773739
There is an easy method outlined, and the thread pitch is listed as well.
