ok so not so new to honda game but def new to turbo.
i have a frsh rebuilt d15b7 with y8 head, stock head and stock internals, 1500 miles on engine since i rebuilt it. i have a t3/t4 turbo on it now and waitin on godspeed wastegate.. im wondering if i send my ecu into phearable.com to be chipped and have basemap put in it wil it be safe to drive? it has stock injectors. only thing on it thats not stock is a gsr throttlebody, 2.5 inch exhaust from downpipe to tip, t3/t4 turbo of course and i think thats it other than upper and lower strut bars front and back. im wanting to run 8psi on 93 octane maybe e85/wat do u think will run better? but anyway wanting to run 8lbs boost, stock injectors, 7800 rev limit, 4200 2 step, cel shift at 7400, speed limiter removed, vtec at 4800. IS THIS SAFE??? can i run the stock injectors and upgrade to aeromotive 340lph fuel pump to up puel pressure using stock injectors safely on 8lbs?
i know i sound like complete idot/ noob but thats what i am. there are no tuners around my area i can find, greenville sc. if u are a tuner or know one near here please let me know... any help or tips greatly appreciated!

 

Is this safe? No. Stock injectors? Riding on only a basemap? A basemap is only for getting to the tuner. Where'd you get 8PSI from? You sure sound like you know nothing about turbos. 240cc injectors will be running at about 95% duty cycle @ about 185 hp so where does 8PSI come in at? What do you need a 7800 rev limit & a 2 step for for such meager horsepower? I doubt they would even put such a poorly thought out basemap on a chip for you. Perhaps you should email them BEFOREHAND.

And you're running some Ebay **** with no wastegate on a totally stock setup NOW? No upgraded fuel system or engine management? Fail.

 

i was asking for help, not put downs. if i wanted that id go back to work where all hondas are refered to as fartpipes by dumbasses that call a 350sbc a big block lol.
like i said i have no clue where to begin. i want the rev limit raised so its not such low rev that its almost immediate redlining. im working with very tight budget due to 30 hours a week at 7.5$ a hour, 18 \years old with 2 kids. so not mch space for a big build, other wise i wouldnt mess with a d,b or h series, would go for a j32 boosted setup. but i do realize fuel system needs upgrade, was just hoping someone could help point me in a good direction, would 11lbs on e85, with 660cc injectors, and aeromotive 340lph fuel pump be a better start? dont diss me, just asking for help to get in right path

 

that and i came up with 8psi cuz i dont figure a lil d15 would handle much boost on stock internals. if im wrong point me in right direction and give a example of safe daily driver setup, i know it will blow eventually but by then i should have a new motor somewhat built for boost, as for now im on a moped lol

 

oyea im not running my car rite now, waiting on wastegate in the mail, thn will have to find a tuner or grab basemap

18yrs old with 2 kids (Already? Really?) making $7.50hr part time? And you're trying to build a car that you know will blow up anyway? Someone needs to get their damn priorities straight. You were the one that came in here and present this totally amateurish setup and pose this equally asinine question and you wanted to be taken seriously? Did you bother to do any research before you started slapping Ebay parts on your car? C'mon son. If you droive up to a tuner with that he'd probably die from the laughter.

BTW. PSI don't mean DICK. Horsepower is what counts when setting goals. Sorry, but I absolutely HATE when things, especially turbo builds, are done half-assed.
