ok so today after work i started my car up and tried to step on the pedal, it wont bog/hesistate and wouldn't accelerate like normal... then when i got home i let it rest for an hour and tried to start it and it bogs trying to start and wont.

Could my alternator be bad, any suggestions, I'm going to have it looked at tommorrow.


Its a EG with a 98 GSR motor and tranny

 

What do you mean by "it bogs"?

It cranks slowly? ..or the car coughs when trying to start?

both kind of , it coughs trying to start more though but wont

 

a buddy of mine is having same problem... what ecu you running&gt;???

 

just found out it was the timing belt, two teeth fell off it im going to do the full tune up while im at it, water pump, alternator, fuel filter, spark plugs etc.
