blown head gasket?
so im at the track, oh its a 00 si running 6lbs, anyway in fourth gear about to shift to 5th and miss and over rev, the car shuts off and all white smoke fills the track, it wont start again and cranks like it wants to, so the plugs are probably fouled, i look under the hood and there are drops of antifreeze everythere, like just splatered all over, so i check the oil cap and dipstick, clean no antifreeze doesnt smell like it mixed either, so its too late to do anything now, but what do you guys think i should do? how do i go about this? thank you

well i drained the oil... looks like a milkshake, really thick, so it defintally mixed, i checked the plugs and there black, (ran rich) i guess, and i did a compression test, cylinder
1 = 182
2 = 180
3 = nothing
4 = nothing
so... now what do i do? i started taking the head off, as of now i have the valve cover and the cams out... any suggestions of what i should do next and what the problems could be, besides the obvious head gasket... thank you for your time

Would a blown headgasket really lead to a cylinder having ZERO compression??? More of a rhetorical question. When my headgasket was going, I still had acceptable compression numbers. I guess there are different degrees of blown
hey ive never done this before so if im wrong please tell me... im just trying to figure out whats wrong, what parts ill need to buy and where do you guys suggest i buy them, what do you guys think the problem is?

No I was trying to correct...more just thinking outloud. I am not an expert on compression and I know a blown headgasket can affect compression, but I didnt know it could make it have no compression in two cylinders. You DO have tell tale signs of a blown headgasket though
white smoke
milky oil
car wount start. When the headgasket on my 240sx blew, the car wouldnt start. At first it would but it only heated up....when it finally went I was lucky if it started.
You are going to have to change the headgasket anyway which isnt too hard.........you may wanna change the timing belt too if it is time or close since you will need to release the tension on the belt to put it back on. Maybe someone can chime in on why you have no compression in those two cylinders...there could be more problems than just the headgasket and you may as well fix those while you taking stuff apart.
