Default bleeding caliper with broken bleeder

snapped the bleadr off one of my rear calipers. is it possable to blled the line using the bolt that connects to the brake line?

i was going to unbolt the caliper. push the piston all the way in, fill the space with some old brake pads then bleed the caliper with the line bolt being the highest point. will this work?

i have had this happen and all i did was crack the line loose where it goes into the caliper to bleed it. It should work. Worked for me anyway..

Can't people fix things right? Why not take a few minutes and do it the correct way.

Yes it will work. No it's not the best fix but you already know that. It'll be fine to do and drive until you can pick up another caliper and swap them out.
