thousand dollars huh?

if I didnt already have a B series swap, I'd put that toward the swap

if I already had a B series motor:

type-r or skunk intake manifold $250
Endyn cam gears$350
Endyn breather kit $140
Apexi VAFC $350

OK I was 100 bucks over, sorry

EDIT-oh yea, for free you take out the intake resonater and yank off the muffler, gut the cat. take off the power steering and the AC belts, yank the distributor off and take a scotch brite to the rotor. You can also plug the fuel return line if you believe in that. Another thought is to take header wrap to the stock header.

What good is giving the car more power if the tires are sorry...upgrade to better tires first.
- Get some good cheap aftermarket wheel with good performance tires ~900
- Sell the stock tires and wheels ~ $400 back
...So now you have about $500...
-Get a CAI $200
-Custom or used catback exhaust system for $300

nowadays it's more like CAI for 100$ and a catback exhaust for 400+$

My revised list:

1.$30 air filter on the end of the stock piping ($30)
2.$115 Mugen head gasket ($145)
3.$0 punch out cat ($145)
4.$0 take off power steering and AC belts ($145)
5.$250 Skunk intake manifold ($395)
6.$350 Endyn cam gears ($745)
7.$0 take off stock muffler ($745)
8.$150 JDM Civic-r racing crank pulley ($895)
9.The other $100 bucks will cover any shipping and a 12 pack of Corona

EDIT-I would say to get nitrous, but I'm not a fan, plus its costs more than people think to have a GOOD nitrous set up. And Junkyard turbo kits never make good power, end up pooch screwing alot of other things and ALWAYS end up costing more money than you think they will.
