Default B20 or bore to 84?

currently deciding on getting a b20 bottom end and keeping the ls head. or
going to 84mm on my current ls block. i will also be upping the boost via stepper pulley on my charger. which route would u guys suggest? TIA

ive heard supra 1jzgtte pistons work good for overbored out honda blocks, but if u want real power just us a t66 turbo!!

Sleeve the LS block to 84mm and get some good forged pistons, perhaps ARP rod bolts, or Eagle rods. Boost away. B20 sleeves have a tendency to crack under boost.

i was planning on b20 bottom end for now, for a little more tq. the boost upgrade wouldn't be around summertime though. how much would a ge sleeved and built bottom end compare price wise to a stock b20 end though?

Stock B20 would be considerably cheaper than GE sleeved block-sleeving is about $650-750 alone. Plus the cost of the block and bearings, seals, and whatnot. Used B20 is about $800 give or take.
