Default B18C1/B16A2 HEAD

i got a question? 1 have a 00 civic si.. im thinking droping a 98 b18c1 block and use the 16a2 head. wat u guys think is it worth it?

Not unless you replace the pistons. You lose some compression because the B16As combustion chambers are bigger.

You lose about .2 compression (at least I know this is the case with the B16A head [first gen])... either get the head milled or get a thinner headgasket and you're good. The ITR head is a worked over Pr3 B16A head anyways.

cuz. wat im tryin to do is b18c1 block b16a2 head then boosted. cuz b16 dont have much tq .
here's my turbo set up....t3t4,head gasket,440 injector, 255 fuel pump, apex s-afc
just want to boost 9psi

you may loose about .2 in your compression but you will still have more torque than your 16. but do use the 18 block i just didi the same swap to my crx. i went from a 16.0 to a 15.2 in 1/4.

i don't think it matters cuz all i kno is that it makes yur car go faster then gsr block with gsr head. Why? I have no fukkn clue. lolz

I hope im reading this wrong. You are running 15's with a 1.8 block and b16 head in a CRX? Or a poor mans R? I hope not
