Your post is a little hard to understand but ill try to help. You can use a type r head on an ls/vtec.Why would you need a 92-93 to use a type r head? The gsr is a b18c1.An ls vtec is any integra LS block from any 90-2001 non vtec integra with any dohc vtec b series head(b16a,b18c etc)

Do you know whats involved in doing an lsvtec? It's not just bolting a vtec head to a non-vtec block. Just understand that. Yes an ITR head will work.

You will need a T fitting in place of the oil pressure sensor, the oil pressure sensor should screw into the end of the T.Than you need to run an oil feed line to the head. The line should be braided and i suggest -6an.There are other fittings/adaptors you need to get for the oil line to screw into the T and to screw into the head, but i do not remember the exact size,as i have all of that written down at the shop. You will also need to tap the original vtec oil supply hole on the bottom of the head, than screw a plug into that also. You will also need to relocate the dowel pins on the underside of the vtec head to the other side of the head. This only involves enlarging holes on the opposite side of the head to accept the dowels.

Any B series VTEC head will work. By the way, B18C5, B17A, B16A (and maybe B, not sure) heads are the same casting (PR3).
