My ex emailed me yesterday explaining to me that she's having a problem with her 94 LS integra. According to her, she had her old aftermarket clutch replaced(2 springs were broken on it) with an OEM clutch, but now she says she can't get it into either 2nd or 4th gear. Although she says that sometimes she can hold it in 4th and it will find the gear. She also went on to say that she can sometimes rev on the gas a little and it will go into 2nd gear. Her other problem is that she'll be driving at about 35mph in 3rd gear, and she'll let it go down to about 2mph, yet the car won't die on her unless she uses the brake. She's got friends telling her that its either her linkage not lined up properly, or it could be the tranny. Anybody got any ideas what could be wrong?

 

did they replace the pressure plate at the same time??

its sounds like a pressure plate issue to me
