i swap a automatic b18b motor using a 91 usdm s1 tranny, non odb ls distributor and ecu into my crx hf, the problem is it that when i rev the car, the rpm will drop and stalls down to 200 and dies out.. i've check the timing, plug wires, and plugs, im throwing a code 7 for the tps sensor, also my idle is at 300+50.. what can i fix this

 

check the TPS sensor voltage at closed throttle. it should be 0.5V and about 4-4.5V at WOT. read the helms manual on the procedure to checking the TPS voltage.

if it's no where near those readings you have to some how adjust or replace the TPS. playing around the the TPS is a big headache.........you might be better off finding another throttle body that has a good un-touched TPS and use that.

yeah check the TPS, you might need to adjust it if you tampered with it, it throws a code if it's maladjusted and that sensor will totally f**k with your idle if your engine is in its stock form.

run-on sentencing is dope.

 

how can i adjust the tps sensor, and also where is the atmospheric sensor at? im also throwing that code along with the map sensor
