Default B18b Compression test results,Need input

Just did a compression test on my 95 b18b1 that i recently put new OEM rings in and used only a 400grit glaze breaker by hand, here are the results. The car was sitting for about 1 1/2 hours,Still warm to the touch.test was done with throttle body held open by hand and cranked 7 times. When I add oil to the cylinders psi goes up 2-3 psi
Cylinder #1- 180
#2- 180
#3- 182
#4- 185
This is with less than 1,000mi on the rings,I did a compression test because my car smokes(brownish) at WOT above 4,500rpms.I also replaced the valve seals at the same time with OEM.I'm wanting to get my car Bar'd and need to figure this out before i go.

Your compression test results look fine (you want them to be within 10% of each other), and adding oil makes very little change which tells you the rings are sealing fine. If you get brownish smoke only at WOT, I would think the problem is with the tune, not the engine. Why did you rebuild? It is possible your cat is full of crap from the last engine, and at WOT it is burning off, that is purely speculation though.

Hmmm... Head gasket? Or, maybe worn out valve stem guides. Who knows dude. Ian has a good point, might be your cat - try using a test pipe, & do the more difficult stuff later.
Off hand I'm not sure if the B18B has the coolant passage through the intake manifold like the B18C, but if there's a leaky gasket it that may be something to check for.

the car is stil eating up oil though.I did the rings just to freshen it up,it had 150k on it.it did it before i pulled the head off(had it resurfaced)So im guess worn valve guides.the cat is off of a 98 type r with 65k on it.Ill get a test pipe and try it out
