ok guys, my b18b swap is still burning a lot of oil, ive replaced everything externally, checked everything i could check, i just did a compression test and it read almost exactly 150 all the way across, no cylinder was lower than the other, i think my compression test is just really old and that has to do with the lower number...

just for reference does anyone know the proper compression testing reading for a b18b (1994 model)?

i am doing a leak down test at the moment and all cylinders seem to pass, i have another head im thinking of using, but i just dont know what to do at this point, i have no money for rings, so thats kind of out of the question, and i figured an engine with this amount of compression wouldnt be able to burn a quart of oil every 100 miles??

is their anything else that would cause the low compression readings? blown headgasket? valves not sealing good? what does the leak down test show? im about to do a search for most of this but any answers would be awesome, thanks...

nevermind, searched found a ton of stuff, retested and got 165-170-170-175 so its not too bad, just got the head off it and it apears i was leaking oil into the cylinders and a slight bit of coolant...
