ok i got a 96 civic ex with a knocking rod. i have recently resourced a full swap b18a with trans, ecu, axles, and shift linkage. i know i need to pick up the hydro to cable trans conversion. what else do i need cause the ecu that comes with it is obd0 i believe and my ek is obd2a what do i need to do to convert this? i need options, mind you that an ls/vtec is down the road but i need my car for now. what kind of options do i have?

 

It would have been great if you got the complete wiring harness to go with that B18.

 

I know right. I have a feeling that this is going to be a headache. If i can find the connectors i can make one from scratch.

 

WoW! ur in for a surpise. Wouldve been better at least if it was a b18B ur gonna need to convert plugs into obd1. Better yet go into the for sale section there should be alot of harness there that people are selling get on of those then itll be a breeze.

 

can i convert the harness with an obd2- obd1 ecu harness and then get the plug and play harnesses for obd2-obd1 dizzy think that will work. if so anything else im missing? i alretty have 0bd2 injectors so thats not a prob and i also recieved an obd1 ecu with this swap along with a different tb and i noticed that the intake on it was pgm-fi so i think this has the b20 head on it.
