B16A1 head removal, need a lil help

Default B16A1 head removal, need a lil help

well i blew my head on my motor, now im gonna replace the head but first i need to take her off.
I was gonna do it yesterday but i didnt have time so im doing it today. Anyways i took off the valve cover, IM bracket inthe back and some wires then i ran out of time. Anywhoo i just wanna take of the head right off, dont wanan remove anything because im just swapping heads, now what do i need 2 take off, do i need 2 take off the cams? how many head bolts are there?
from what i have seen im under the impression that the cams come off and the headbolts are around there somewhere, anyways if somebody would be kind 2 gimme some info on this that'll be great, ty

Dude, it really sounds like you have no idea but if you really want to have a go at it, fair enough, thats how I learned everything I know.
Download the VTEC B16A supplement from here and it will give you a good guide.

proly blew the head GASKET...you will need to check the mating surfaces of the head and the block to make sure no damage also ...that they are level with a true straight edge....as he said gotta remove the cams, then the head bolts or studs, etc.

yes you have to remove both cams, so yer gonna have to remove the distributor first.

well i removed the cams and all hoses and everything, im gonna take a pic in a lil bit cause i gotta go out but after the cams come out, what do i do now? i dont see anything else left 2 do, can some1 tell me like step by step after the cams are removed?
yeah my timing belt snapped, and yea my headgasket blew (too much juice) i need 2 check the damage ont he valves since its 99.99% that one of the pistons kissed the valves
i really need some1's help here on what to do next, i'll post pics later

Not necessarily. That's a worst case scenario.
I can't remember if B series VTEC's are even interference engines or not.
