Lost motion assembly?? ... does the head need to come off?
no the head does not have to come off and you dont have to remove the headbolts............its still quite a bit of work though

My bad on the head bolts.Removing head bolts requires removing cams on vtec b , not the other way around.Anyway the rocker shafts and rockers have to be removed to get the LMA's out.Even with the rockers flipped up there is not enough room to get them past.The shafts are as long as the head and I'm not sure they can be removed in the car.I've removed the head to do them before.
