hey everyone i have obd1 b16a swapped into my 94 delsol and its throwing code 8 which is top dead center sensor and ive been searching and searching but i cant find any information on this or where it is located. any info would be much appreciated cause my car does not run right now. thanks

 

Sometimes when you mix up the plug wires it will throw this code. Verify your timing and make sure you have the correct wires going to the correct plugs. The TDC sensor is in the distributor.

 

In most cases, either the TDC sensor is open (unlikely, but can happen), or the wires are flipped the wrong way. Fix that first.

Mixing the plug wires will not set that code...
