Icon2 B16 Idle Air control Valve plug, Please help.

So I have been tinkering with my IACV because I have a #14 CEL.
I unplugged it while running to see if that would cause a change in the idle RPM, (which it didn't) but noticed that I may have a wrong part. Perhaps the previous owner put a IAC from a OBD1 B16 on?

This is the connector on the Idle air control valve I removed.

This is the end of the wire which connected to the IAC.

They obviously don't seem to match up.
I looked everywhere to see if there was another plug which may have gotten mixed up with it as that is quite common, but there are no others that even come close to matching.

Anybody have any Idea what exactly is wrong here?

I've searched everywhere for pictures to compare plugs but have had no luck.

BTW, in case it helps. My car is a Canadian 97' Del Sol Vtec. The stock engine was replaced with a another built b16a2 Vtec.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply mate. I actually found the plug, It had somehow been mixed up with a sensor on my turbo. Still not sure where that second plug belongs though.
Got it plugged in and the CEL turned off, but now its idling a little high and there is a slight slow pulse in the RPM. Perhaps I have a vacuum leak somewhere?
Thanks again man.

you can adjust your idle via the idle screw on the throttle body. If you have a pulsing idle try cleaning your iacv.

I cleaned it out pretty good with some CRC QD Electronic cleaner because i didnt have any brake parts cleaner on hand. Ill try that this weekend and play with the idle screw. It was set to idle at about 1000 because the previous owner said he thought it was a lot easier to match RPM when shifting, and I must agree that it feels pretty sweet. Its at 1900 right now, for a B16a2 it should probably be at around 700? Would it be safe for me to set it at 1000-1100? I tried finding any reasons it would be bad to set it a little high but found nothing but various idle trouble people had. Perhaps I just just suck at using the search function? haha

I cant see any real harm with having it at 1000. Only thing it might affect is your emissions if you have smog tests in your area. But you could easily adjust it back to 700-ish when it comes time for that....
