Default Crankshaft Position Sensor

My friend is having troubles poping this code, anyone ever deal with it? when we reset the computer the car runs well for 2 minutes and then it starts missing, and then it shuts off....CEL4....any help will do....also we are having troubles finding it, its a b16a sir1

I believe that sensor is in the distributor. Might want to pull the distro and cap and clean it out inspect it. Look for broken/burnt wires.
