Default B16 Vs. B18C block?

are the blocks the same size physically?
or is the difference just in the crankshaft?
how hard is it to put a GSR engine into a del sol?

Same size physically, yes. Should be a straightforward fitment one to another. Manifold puts throttle body differently though, if you are doing to whole swap.

Not exacly the same. The GSR block is a little taller, not just the crankshaft. You also have to do extra wiring, due to the dual stage runners in the GSR intake manifold. Not a big big problem, but extra.

Will bolt easily into a DelSlow. As stated above, GSR deck height is a little taller, but the difference won't prevent a straight swap.

There are no bottom end differences other than the 7mm extra deck height on the B18C block? The B18C has no extra bracing, no oil squirters, low-friction coating, etc?

I'm curious too

B18c block also has oil squirters and girdle. If B16 and B18 blocks were the same except for the crank, everyone would buy b16 blocks and change the crank to make a 1.8 liter instead of buying high demand b18c blocks.
