Didn't the 93 GSR come with a B17, not a B18C1?

The B16 head should bolt up to a B18C1 block (and probably the B17 as well), but your compression will be different and so will the intake manifold bolt pattern. There might be other differences as well, so check the hybrid forum.

B17A

The GSR block (B18C) and Si (B16A) head is a common swap. Poor mans Type R.
