Default B16 Start and idle issues

Running a jdm b16a with obd1 delsol dohc ECU intake mani and sensors in a 94cx HB. Car idles terribly.... It acts as if the the coolant has air in the line causing the lower TB sensor to read funny... Youguys know the typical 800-1500 rpm back and forth surging. Everything works (vtec) etc.... but car will start to run hot... ACK...

Also the car now is having trouble cold starting. I have to give it gas or it dies. If i hold it at like 2000rpm for a few seconds it will start to go through cold start cycle. I fi dotn the car misses and idles around 250rpm and dies...

Please help guys
Bryan

I have a similar problem, have you checked the lower radiator hose? does it feel cold even at operating temp? mine does.

if your lower radiator hose is still cold at full operating temp then your thermostat is stuck shut.
