If every thing is wired up right it should work automatically. You can ad time if you hit SELECT to get in one of the modes A-L, A-H, P-1 or P-2. Then hit TIME to ad more time to the count down. If you need more help let me know or try asking in the Forced Induction form.

Hmmm...i do put everything like you just explained...and the wiring is correct...i just don't know if i may be doing something wrong with the time setting...after you set the time how would you know if the timer is activated so that when you shut the car down it stays on?...

When turn on your car hit the TIME button it should ad time by 10 sec. each time. The timer should show the time (0.30 like this) When you turn the key off the timer will count down and the car will run till countdown is done.

I think I know what the problem may be...when I turn the car off the turbo timer shuts off also so maybe I have to connect the positive wire to something that does not loss electrical current when I turn the ignition key off....where would you suggest I connect it too if this is the case?...whats your wire setup....

If the turbo timer turns off immediately when the car turns off, you either need to turn it "on" by pressing the power button when the car is running then setting a time, or you don't have it wired right.

I had a similar problem... when I first wired it, I wired it according to Greddy's "Four Wire Ignition" diagram... when, infact, my car (95 civic) has a five wire ignition. So check that out as well, you might need to do some rewiring.

From the timer to the ignition. Red to White, Green to Black/Yellow, Blue to Yellow, Black to ground
