My friend ordered a B16 swap and I believe got a JDM B16 SIR II instead of the obd 2 swap he wanted. It's going in a 97 DX coupe. Let me see if I get this straight, please feel free to correct me!

Will need a obd2 distributor, injectors, and alt.
Use the stock obd 2 dx harness, add vtec and knock wires
Use obd2 to 1 adapter and use the obd 1 p30 he got
Need drivers side 99-00 si upper mount

Anything else i'm missing to do this swap? Are the rest of the mounts the same (EG to EK)?

Okay you don't need to change the distributor rather just the plug.... It's not that hard because all of the wires will match up in color... You will either have to use the DX injectors or change the plug to the OBD1 clip-pin release style. Either way will work, but i would just reuse the DX injectors.... they have the same flow rate and I like the OBD2 style connector better... Add the wires for VTEC, VTM, and KS just as you said... Flip around the IAC wiring (it's a little different on a DX motor because it uses the 3 pin rotary style IAC, but it's really easy to convert) Since you are running the P30 don't worry about getting a 96+ oil pump and wiring up the CKFS... And the last thing... the driver side mount that bolts the the block (the stock DX apron will work) Use the lower mounts that some with the B16, and GET A 99-2000 Si rear bracket Make sure you use the DX tranny side upper mount on the B16... Really the only mounts that are the same from the DC/EG chassis to the EK are the two front lowers... Everything else is different.. Good Luck and lemme know if you need anything else
