Default b16 crank in ls block??????

hey everyone. I was woundering if anyone could name any benefits of putting a b16 crank in an ls block. i archived this but didnt find anything of much use. im intending to run turbo on my ls and my idea was that sence the b16 crank (from what i understand) is more round then the b18 that i would allow the bottom end to handle more rev's My idea behind this is that, i would run b16 crank on b18 block with b16 head under boost. Run a big enough turbo so i dont start to spool until higher in the power band to give me a better chance of gaining traction. would it be better to edge the ls crank? anyone help me out with some good technical info??

Your rods would be too short. Why not just get a B16 bottom end? They are dirt cheap and you can boost/rev the hell out of them.
