Default mixing b16 w/ ls crank?

u would use the ls rods and then would the compression go way up?? and anybody know what the rod stroke would be? and would u have to move the pins in the pistons up to make it work better?

have never seen a B18 crank in a B16 block. it would seem that an ls crank with an 89mm stroke would have some issues clearing a block meant to hold a 77mm crank. i think the journals might hit the block. not good. it would seem that you would need some serious notching at the bottom of the cylinder walls, this is never a good thing. now a B16 crank in an ls, on the other hand, should be able to rev high like a monster.
