im using eagle ls rods with the newer arp bolts along with an ls crank in my gsr block. the motor will rev to 9000.
the helms has the tq specs on the rod bolts at like 23 for ls and 30 something for gsr. should i use the ls tq spec or the gsr one considering the revs on the motor (400hp turbo car btw).
also, engine oil or moly lube on the bolts?

if the rods have arp rod bolts you use the torque specs outlined within the spec sheet...and you use the lube supplied with the rod bolts...for my stock rebuilds i use motor oil but everyone has their own preference...
arp bolts should include specs like bolt stretch, bolt torque in ft./lbs., bolt grade, bolt diameter, etc...
eagle does not make rod bolts they simply buy to their spec... make sure you know which bolt you have(5/16", 3/8") because they have different stretch tolerances...and a .0001" bore gage would be nice to confirm any out of round and taper

my eagles came with a little piece of paper that listed the different rod bolts they use and the trq specifcations next to them. i lost the paper already but they were for a d16 anyway.
