Default Arp headbolts installing..confuse.

Wow after searching all over the forum on the spec for installing arp headstud on a 1998 gsr motor, there is so many different answer and confusion. On the information sheets Arp gave me this is there information.

PRELOAD (TORQUE) RECOMMENDATIONS:
(A) Torque the nuts to 70ftlbs for arp moly assembly lubricant or torque to 85 ftlbs with 30wt motor oil.
(B) Due to the expansion rate of Aluminum, it is recommended that the torque should be 65 ftlbs with ARP moly assembly lub.

After searching and searching, I assume I would've to torque the nut to 30 ftlbs in honda sequence first and then torque it to 65ftlbs of torque?

Or do I torque it to 70ftlbs?

I usally preload the studs using the allen key with about 10 ftlbs in the block which is abought as good as hand tight.

you will want to lube the nuts with the arp aseemebly lube genrously as wellas the threads slap the head on.

torque in 4 step sequence is what i use 30 40 50 70 based on qhat the final value that ARP reccommend using there lube

Arp gave me two different torque numbers. One is 70ft lbs and the other is 65 ftlbs both with using their moly lube. I would assume it would be 65ftlbs of torque, because it states that due to the expansion rate of aluminum, it is recommended that the torque should be at 65ft lbs of torque with ARP moly assembly lube. So ye....65 or 70.

Ye I would prob guess it be 70ftlbs of torque. The thing is confusing is that they also state 65ftlbs for aluminium head. So Ye I probaly give them a call tomorrow and see.
