nothing big really.
The only difference in the bare heads is the coolant passages. Other than that, either head share compatible parts. but if you're buying a used head and you have a choice between an 89-91 and 92-95 B16A(2) PR3 head ...go with the B16A2 head since it will have lower miles on it...unless your planning to rebuild the whole head (valve seals & all) it doesnt matter which one you get.

actually that's correct, as far as Auto 89-91 B16A heads go....they have single valve springs on the both sides of the head. For 89-91 PR3 5speed heads the intake has dual springs, not sure about exhauast side though.

Exhaust side does not have dual springs. That's why when upgrading to a ITR/CTR cam or any agressive exhaust cam, it suggested to get dual springs on the exhaust side. One note, if you do upgrade to the dual exhaust side springs, DO NOT get the Type-R springs as the Type-R springs have a softer spring rate than the other factory valve springs (GSR/B16) because the Type-R valves were lighter. People think Type-R ALWAYS means better. Type-R just means engineered for use w. other Type-R stuff. Just my $.02
