Default advice on b16a tb/tps

i cant seem to get the swapped tps to reach 5v at WOT. the best i can get is 3.6v
its installed properly, it is used, but these TPS are tuff to come by.
i REALLY want the CEL to go off, and to not run so rich.

i do have a field vtec controller with the fuel/air controller, should i lean it way out at high rpms???

ive been thinking about getting a aftermarket TB and i wonder, do they come w/TPS????

i hate code 7

Most aftermarket TB's require the use of the stock sensors.

Your TPS should read about 4.5 volts at WOT. Have you tried checking the throttle cable to make sure it's allowing the throttle plate to fully open?

Its not easy to adjust the tps. It just takes a little patience.
I thought that it would run lean at that voltage not rich?

it seems to run pretty rich.
ive even modified the TPS by dremelling out the hole so i could turn it further
i got those voltages from opening the throttle with my hands

You are right to open it by hand, have you looked at the plate to make sure its opening all the way?
