please dont dig yourself any deeper...
i am sure that we have established without a doubt that it is NOT possible to build a A20/B16 hybrid engine.
whatever the suffix...
let it end,

PS "suffix" = a letter added to the end of a word/number

This obviously will NOT work. I would rather see myself resleeve a B18C block to 85mm darton sleeves and get 2.0 liters out of it. The sleeves will be strong enough to withstand a lot of cylinder pressure. If you have yourself sold on cast iron blocks then get yourself into a 3S-GTE celica or mr2 instead. The A20 is a sloped forward cast iron block motor with a long stroke and short rods. This helps get low RPM torque but mateing it with a head of a totally opposite powerband will net you a complete power loss.

I remember in 1996-7 when I was in the process of seeing how to swap my 1991 Accord to manual from auto I had a whole thread of people telling me how it 'just wouldnt work'.
I also remember 3-4 years ago when people in the mainstream were just starting to put DA Teg pistons in D blocks and run 13's and lower on them that it 'just wouldnt work'.
I also frequent the PGMFI forums (I'm Andrew Shinn for all the PGMFI guys) and I can tell you that Sean does some nutty ****. He is a 2nd Gen Accord nut and has a General Motors ECU running that car, I **** you people not.
Don't be afraid of the unknown. If it wasnt for people trying *AND* figuring it out you wouldnt have 70% of the options at your disposal you do now.
I've fit H series heads on F blocks with simular situations like this and a lil redrilling/dremeling of the HG was in order in some places but thats about it. Where the hell do you people think the B blocks came from anyway?

good points Gimpy, I've never seen this swap done but you cant very well say it's impossible till it has been proven impossible, and then tried again and once more after that. Another good example is the Supra pistons in the D series motors, "that can't work" bt it works very well.!
I know Sean from PGMFI... the boy is a wonder. I host the pics of his GM ECM powered Accord on my web gallery.
And things in the automotive world get a little stranger than heads off of Honda engines being interchangeable. Every seen a Lotus Europa engine running Subaru 1.8 leaker crank and rods? It's considered a logical upgrade from the less than well engineered Lotus bits. I've heard of Chevy pink rods in an aircooled VW, dunno if that's so but I wouldn't be surprised.
