question on a20a block with b16 head??
ok...i heard that you can put a a20 block on with a b16 head?? but what tranny would i use?? and would i still have the same shift linkage?

they are from the old school accords. 86-89(a20a) are a sohc 12valve motor that is carb. then the other is a20a3. that year is 88-89. those a20a3 are fuel injected.

dude i highly highly dobut its possible
and just because the sleevs are iron dosent mean it will hold more boost
thats a SOHC motor, butting a b sreies head on isnt gonna work.

well...im gonna go to pick in pull....take off the head. and bring my b16 head gasket and see if anything will match up. and bring the dig cam.

yep, that should definitly show you the problem areas.
i reckon you will find that the head is wider than the block, and the oil return holes will be outside the block oil return passages...
i wonder if the head bolt holes will match up?
my guess is is that they wont.

haha i use to have a "tricked" out 89 accord lxi...gotta love the A-series...wow memories...i pulled a 17.1 with all the bolt-ons on that sucka...
