Default 95 civic thinking about engine swap

i have a 95 civic lx non vtec, and im thinking about getting an engine swap. i have about $1000 right now, and im going to be making some more soon. I dont really know whats out there and what kind of power they put out. i was thinking about a b16, but i know there are several different kinds. if anyone can help me or has a site about it thatd be cool. also, is there anything else i need to buy to do it? and is there anything else anyone would recomend me getting with it while i have the car apart for some more hp? i need to get a new engine soon.

Get a second gen b16a, or usdm b16a2. Basically the swap with the hydraulic tranny.

As to how much horsepower, n/a or turbo?

no turbo, dont have that kind of money right now.

i was wondering if i could get a little more hp with the new b16a. ive thought about maybe a lightweight flywheel, but im not sure if that would help much. Also, my friend told me i could get new adjustable cam gears. what would that do?

i have a full cat-back exaust too, should i consider new headers? or should i do anything with intake? i have an aem cold air intake now. any ideas or info apreciated. thnx
