Default 94 civic obd1 data plug

Im looking for my data plug on my 94 civic. The only thing i see under the passenger side dash is two blue plugs. one has three wires and the other is two wires with a blue wire and a black wire. Any ideas. Also my light only comes on after i run the car for a few seconds so how do i check this?

you do not have a Data plug. that's only on 96+ cars. The blue plug with 2 wires is what you place a paperclip in the have your CEL flash you codes.

Yes...it is the one with 2 wires...it is under the passenger side kick panel right above the ECU. It looks like its plugged in wrong. Just pull it out and take a paper clip and fold it like a "U" , insert it into the blue plug and jumper the wires just like the previous poster stated. Now turn the ignition into the aux position but don't start the car. Now watch the Check Engine Light and it will blink with a series of long and short illuminated blinks. These are your codes. IE: if you see blink-blink-blink pause blink-blink long pause, this indicates a code 32. Pay attention because you may have multiple codes and they will cycle through over and over...just keep watching and you'll see the repetitive numbers. Check on here somewhere for the chart on what the codes mean. Good luck!
